4. AI Processing and Third-Party Services

4.1 Anthropic Claude API

We use Anthropic's Claude API to analyze your site photos and identify potential safety violations. When you upload photos, they are transmitted to Anthropic's servers for AI processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and data protection commitments. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models.

4.2 Cloudflare R2

Your uploaded photos and generated reports are stored securely on Cloudflare R2, an S3-compatible storage service. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

4.3 Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store complete credit card information. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy.

4.4 Postmark

We use Postmark to send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, notifications). Your email address is shared with Postmark for this purpose.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data:

• Data encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Secure password storage using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt)
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and authentication mechanisms
• Secure database hosted on PostgreSQL 16

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and inspection data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.
